Closing the packaging loop in 2023

Closing the packaging loop in 2023

At Good Sheet, we believe in providing our customers with choices that not only benefit them but also the environment. That's why we offer two options for packaging our products – a traditional cardboard sleeve and a revolutionary dissolvable cellulose bag.

Cardboard is a popular option for packaging but it's not without its environmental impact. As we all know, cardboard is made from trees, a finite resource even when using sustainably forested trees, and when it's not recycled, it can end up in landfill.

On the other hand, recycling cardboard reduces its environmental impact, but it still requires energy and resources to be processed. Thankfully Aussies recycle about 85% of their paper goods and the figures show that recycling cardboard is better environmentally than creating new cardboard by about 40%.

That's why we're proud to offer another sustainable alternative – a dissolvable cellulose bag. These bags dissolve in boiling water within minutes, leaving no trace of waste. This is perfect for customers who don't have home composting facilities as they can easily dispose of the water in their sink or garden. They can also be placed into recycling or landfill and will biodegrade.

Our dissolvable cellulose bags are part of our commitment to the circular economy, fulfilling our goal to help create a more sustainable product line and packaging option that suits everyone.

It's also worth mentioning that most other brands have their products packaged and shipped directly from China. We send our sheets in bulk and pack them here. By choosing Good Sheet, you're not only supporting a small business, but you're also making a difference in the global community by reducing the carbon footprint associated with international shipping.

We’re excited to offer our customers a choice between traditional packaging and an even more sustainable option by supporting you to lower the packaging footprint of eCommerce. We hope you'll join us on this journey in 2023 and beyond.
